Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has been approached by Egypt for their vacant national team coach job, according to football agent Nader El-Sayed.
He is said to be on his way to London to speak to the former France World Cup winner on behalf of the Egypt FA.
Egypt national team are without a head coach at the moment following the departure of Hector Cuper in the wake of the Pharaohs’ debacle at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The football federation have released a short-list of four coaches being considered for the vacant position.
They are Colombian Jorge Luis Pinto, Spaniard Quique Sanchez Flores, Javier Aguirre from Mexico and former Algeria coach Vahid Halilhodzic.
